Descrição

CITOCORE’s Drop Cable is a fiber optic solution engineered for last-mile installations in fiber optic networks. Its rounded design enhances ease of handling in the field, making it highly suitable for diverse outdoor applications.

This cable comes in 1-, 2-, or 4-fiber G.657A configurations, boasting an impressive attenuation coefficient of 0.4 dB/km at 1310nm and 0.3 dB/km at 1550nm. It features a durable, black LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) outer jacket that is not only flexible but also meets strict flammability standards for safety in various scenarios.

Designed to endure harsh outdoor environments, the CITOCORE Drop cable includes a 0.8mm diameter metal messenger (customizable as per client requirements) and dual metal reinforcement elements of 0.4 mm diameter, or alternatively, two 0.5 mm diameter FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) elements. These components ensure outstanding resistance to external forces such as impacts, bending, and crushing.

Technically, the cable possesses a short-term tensile strength of 400N and a long-term tensile strength of 200N, calculated with a standard 1 mm metallic messenger. Additionally, it can withstand a short-term compressive force of 2,200 N/100 mm and a long-term compressive force of 1,000 N/100 mm. The minimum bending radius is 20 times the cable diameter without tension and 40 times under maximum tension.

CITOCORE’s Drop cable is an optimal, robust solution for high-performance outdoor installations. Its compact and sturdy design, coupled with superior technical specifications, render it ideal for a range of applications, including fiber-to-the-home (FTTH), fiber-to-the-building (FTTB), and other last-mile connectivity needs.
